In Nosachiv village in Cherkassy region the Peace Corps volunteer Miles Green teaches pupils to play the drums. They have been caked with dust for years in the school storage room. The American patched the wholes up with scotch and configured the instruments.  The headmaster of school supports the teacher and his innovation. Miles communicates with his students as an equal.

He moved to Ukraine after he’d graduated from the university. He plans to create a real youth band. The American government will allocate funds to help him as Miles has already won a grant.
