Almost a hundred year old church was on fire in Prykarpattia. The witnesses say the incident happened at around 2 AM on 11 June. The fire spread around the church very quickly. When the firefighters arrived the whole building was already on fire. In one hour just the remains left. The locals helped the firefighters to water the neighboring houses.

When they closed the church the evening before, neither candles nor the lights were on. The emergencies saved a bell tower, a rotunda and a church hut. Fortunately no one was hurt. The police investigate the reason of the fire now. The church was the biggest wooden cathedral in the western Ukraine.
