The deputy Minister of foreign affairs of Poland Bartosz Cichocki, commented on the situation in one of the Polish hospitals, when the nurse teared the pass of the Ukrainian woman apart when she saw she lives in Stepan Bandera street.

“It is an disappointing incident, however, I’d like to stand up for the nurse – we don’t know her family background, it is possible that her relatives were killed by Bandera’s followers. However, it is not the Ukrainian girl’s, too. A lot of people live on that street. The situation proves that making heroes from people regarded as criminals in Poland continues poisoning the relations between the two countries.” – says the minister.

He calls on not to pay attention to such regretful cases, because the Polish government has a desire to warm up Ukrainian-Polish relations.
