The absence of home and a bullet to the chest did not overcome Volyn local Mykola Yuzepchuk. Now he is 88. The man survived WW2. Nazi executed almost all his family. One bullet hit his chest. His mother covered him with her body to save the boy… Now he has a scar as a reminder of those terrible events.

The researcher Gerit Cigler came to find out about his story. She prepares an exhibition about the story of Volyn Romani.

Mykola has seven children and a house near Kovel, but because of the problems with health he lives with them.
