“Me Too” movement organized an action to support 82 women who were awarded at the festival since the time of its existence. For 72 year history of famous cinema fest 1687 men were the winners. The demonstration against sex discrimination was supported by famous cinema stars.

Some demonstrators stand for equal salaries in cinema industry. This years the managers of the project created a telephone line for the victims of sexual harassment and some discussion groups where the victims talked about the problem of harassment in cinema industry.
