The fifth day of the Olympics in Pyongyang stand out of bad weather conditions and cancelling of sports events. In particular because of strong wind Women’s Individual Race Competitions and Mountain Athletics were delayed.

However, the nature’s force was not an obstacle to identify this year’s Olympic snowboarding champion. It was a well-known American sportsmen Shaun White. The winner of the jumping race was the German sportsman Eric Frenzel. The members of the jury also named the finalists of paired figure skating. The best results have the representatives of China, Russia and Canada.

The pair from North Korea tool 11th place in the competition, but previously the country claimed that figure skating is their strong point. They performed accompanied by the Beatles song ‘Day in a life’.
