Donald Trump received his first Valentine’s card from Sue Kruzek. Her son died from heroin overdose last year. He was only 20. The American woman together with other parents who lost children because of drugs, sent heart-shaped cards attached with photos of victims to their President to draw his attention to the problem of opioid epidemic.

In the letter she tells that her son, Nick, became addicted to strong painkillers when he was 15. Sue wants the government to pay more attention to drugs problem and allocate more money to rehabilitation centers.

In Brussels there was a meeting of NATO countries defensive ministers on 14 February. They discussed the place of alliance in fight against terrorism; in particular, they plan to extend activities in Iraq.

The Defensive Minister of the US states that NATO is probably the best international military organization that fights against terrorism. He also points out that all the members of the bloc should make equal shares to the alliance budget what is 2% from the state’s GDP. The meeting was a part of preparation to the great NATO summit in July.

The American woman sues with cosmetic company Ulta because of fraud. She claims that the company repacks returned goods. The workers of the company state that the management has limited the number of returned products. The advocate says they repacked and sold the returned goods if it was in good condition.

The woman told that the cosmetics she had bought looked strange – there was no brush in her shadows and mascara. Her lawyer believes that using the cosmetics that was previously opened is dangerous for health.

However, the company denies all the accusations.
