French senate may adopt new strict rules of providing migrants with a shelter. The government hopes appropriate bill will be approved next week. New regulations will double the period of migrants stay in the country – up to 90 days. There will be bills and a year of imprisonment for those, who enters the country illegally. The bill will also simplify the procedure of providing the juvenile with the shelter.

Jean Claude Mas the head of La Cimade charity fund claimed that new bill shows the decline of the refugees and migrants’ rights. The amount of people who applied for a shelter reached a peak point in 2017 – more than 100 000 people.

Governmental militants in Syria 250 people for the last 48 hours. According to the UN information, at that time in the region six hospitals stopped working. The European Commission has appointed a new Secretary-General. The decision was made by the College of European Commissioners on Wednesday. The EU governing body stated that after 32 years of service, the current secretary of the European Commission, Alexander Italianer, decided to resign. Instead, the board appointed a new general secretary, Martin Selmayr. Jean-Claude Juncker thanked Italianer for his service to the EU.
