North Korea held a military parade a day before the Olympiad opening. Seoul found out that the parade was held on the square named after Kim II-sung, however North Korea doesn’t confirm the information officially. State TV did not broadcast the parade live, but on the Internet, there is a video where public servants leave the square after the parade.

Usually thousands of soldiers and hundreds of armored vehicles participate in the parade.

 

NATO creates new command center in Germany. Berlin command center will manage logistics of forces, logistics of military equipment. Next week NATO will announce the center’s opening after the alliance meeting in Brussels.

Another headquarter of NATO will be set up in the USA. Its main task will be the control and coordination of air and maritime movements from North America and Europe through the Atlantics.

 

BBC informs that Amsterdam empowered EU court to consider an action about the rights of the Britons after Brexit. The EU has to decide whether the Britons have rights to be EU citizens after the country’s exit from the bloc.
