No house – just a basement and burnt remains. The hostess was at work in Brest that day. Her grandchildren who are just five and four years old were playing at home, their mother was working in the garden.
However, they did not now it is dangerous to play with fire. One moment – and everything burns. The children ran outside and called the mom, she yelled for help.
Three fire trucks could not save the house…
Galyna Dmytruk now lives in small summer kitchen – she sleeps, cooks and have a shower in one room. People who are not indifferent brought most stuff and furniture.
Her husband died nine years ago, she brought up two sons herself. The elder is a builder, he works all around Ukraine. The youngest is a tankman. In 2014 he served in ATO zone and is awarded for courage and high professionalism. When the incident happened Zoryan was in Kharkiv, he studies there.
Authorities, businessmen, deputies and friends started helping Galyna when the tragedy happened. For money collected the woman bought blocks. She wants to build another room near the summer kitchen, mto spend winter there.
