On 18 May Lutsk locals commemorated the victims of political repressions. Students, authorities, priests and the victims got together near the castle. 84 y.o. Lidiya Bondaruk tells she has been waiting for the day when the whole state will commemorate the victims of political repressions the whole life.

In October 1947 she was expelled to Siberia. There she spent 11 years together with her family there.

The priests commemorated all the diseased. The locals put flowers to the monument.
