On 8 February a group of people wearing ‘cyber police’ jackets conducted a search of the university rooms. They were checking computers. However, they refused to comment on their actions. The men were interfering journalists’ work and even threatened to open a criminal case, but they still didn’t show their IDs.

Press service of cyber police department confirmed the men in uniforms are their workers.

Later, in the evening, the press service of Volyn prosecutor’s office also confirmed the fact of sanctioned search in the university.

During the inspection they discovered and confiscated computers, flash drives and other equipment possibly used for cryptocurrency mining – informs the official website of the office.
