They are children, but they earn money. Not all the people wait until they are 18 to go for a job. Tetyana is 17. She works as a sales assistant in the market. She works, because she wants to, not because somebody makes her do it.

June 12 – is world day against child labor.

Usually pupils start working on holidays, because they have nothing to do at home. People who are under 18 y.o. Can legally work in Ukraine, however less hours and with parents’ agreement. Besides, there are lots of spheres where child labor is prohibited (usually it relates to difficult physical work).
