Region prosecutor Maksym Kyrychuk published the list of the most criminal places in Volyn.

So, the highest level of criminal activity is in Novovolynsk. Popular types of crime there are robberies and thefts.

Lutsk and Kovel also belong to the towns with high criminal activity but in general, the total amount of crimes has decreased during the last year, depending on the area in about 23-31%.

Besides, teens’ crime number has decreased in 1/3. The number of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol is now lower, too.

The prosecutor pointed out that nowadays they intensively control traffic safety, illegal amber mining and its smuggling, illegal automobile obtain and alcohol&tabacco smuggling.
